               Het werk is als een reis door lagen; een reis die onderling verbonden ruimtes zichtbaar maakt. Het is als

               het volgen van een lijn: "ik trek een enkele draad uit het patroon van leven". In de serie 'La Ligne Végétale'

               worden getekende lijnen en vormen verbonden met geabstraheerde reflecties op de essentie van natuur.

                Inspiratiebronnen zijn natuurvormen en aardse structuren.

               The real voyage of discovery consists of not seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.

               The work is like traveling through layers. Revealing interconnected spaces. It's like following a line:

               pulling a single thread from a pattern of life. Abstracted reflections on the essence of nature.

               My practice is essentially about the non-material; or going beyond the material and into visual space.

               Exploring another reality, to which we gain access through contemplation and prayer. I seek to capture

               the meaningful dialogue between these internal and external realities, metaphorically through images

               taken from nature.
